The «Create as guest» feature allows you to add customers to the system without them receiving a SportsNow login.
This feature is particularly suitable for new customers trying out your services for the first time, e.g. during a trial session.
Good to know:
- Guests will still receive notifications and emails, such as booking confirmations or invoices.
- In the customer details, guests are marked as «Registered as a guest».
Create guest
Step-by-step
- Go to «My Customers» in your admin area.
- Click on «Create member».
- Fill in the customer details. The email address field can be left blank.
- At the bottom, tick the box to select the option «Create as guest».
- Once you have entered all the details, click on «Create member». The member will now be created as a guest and will not receive a SportsNow login.
Create a login for a guest
If a guest would like to use your services more often, you can create a SportsNow login for them straight away.
Step-by-step
- Create a login for the member using the feature: Create a new login and password for members
- This gives the customer access to the app and the web login.
Once a login has been created, guest status is automatically removed.
The member can then book and view their credit.
