SportsNow allows your studio to offer different online payment options. Online payment is a safe and fast way to sell passes and products to your members.


You can pay online by credit card, by smartphone (TWINT) and by customer credit. In this guide you will learn more about the different payment methods. You will also find links to further instructions where we explain step-by-step how to set up the online payment options in your studio.


Good to know

  • If the pass is sold by the Studio by credit card or TWINT, the invoice is created with the status «open». As soon as the customer registers with SportsNow and confirms payment by credit card or TWINT, the invoice is automatically marked as paid.


Pay by credit card

  •  Premium BASIC / Add-On «Online payments»

The online credit card payment option is offered in SportsNow and the payment transactions are made over a secure SSL connection. Accepted credit cards are Visa, Mastercard and American Express.


Online payments are subject to standard fees paid by the member, i.e. the studio receives the full amount. Alternatively, the fees can be split or paid by the studio. The payment is processed by Stripe and the fees are 3.9% + 0.30 CHF per successful payment.


When paying by credit card, the open invoice is automatically marked as paid. A manual reconciliation of the receipt of payment and payment of the invoice is therefore not necessary. All incoming payments are regularly transferred from Stripe to your bank account. In your Stripe Dashboard you can see the incoming payments and all payments: https://stripe.com/.

To view all invoices in SportsNow that have been paid by credit card, please follow these steps:

  • Click on «My finance» in the admin area.
  • Switch view: Select «Show settled invoices» here.
  • Payment option: Select «Credit card» here.
  • You will now see all invoices that were paid by credit card.

Pay by TWINT

  •  Premium BASIC / Add-On «Online payments»

Online payment via smartphone is possible in SportsNow with the Swiss solution TWINT. With it your customers can easily scan or enter a QR code and pay with their smartphone.


When paying with TWINT there are no fees for the member, but the studio pays directly to TWINT. Setting options for the fees cannot be offered here. The current and exact fees for payment with TWINT can be found at TWINT.


When paying by credit card, the open invoice is automatically marked as paid. A manual reconciliation of the receipt of payment and payment of the invoice is therefore not necessary. All incoming payments are regularly transferred from TWINT to your bank account. In your TWINT Partner Portal you can see the incoming payments and all payments: https://portal.twint.ch/.

Pay by customer credit

  • Premium MAX PRO / Add-On «Customer credit»

The customer credit is a way for your members to pay online. To do so, the member must first top up their credit in the studio and can then pay with it. This is especially suitable if small products like snacks or smoothies are sold in the studio with the POS system.
